Her Design Ltd was founded with my family in 2003. I am the lead designer and manufacturer of silver jewellery and silverware, and I welcome commissions in other precious metals. I use traditional handcrafted silversmithing methods with small-scale production methods to produce my silver jewellery collections. Hollow silverware is mainly forged by hand. Techniques used in larger scale manufacturing may be applied to multiple commissions.

I graduated as a designer silversmith from Lahti School of Applied Arts, Design Institute in 2000. After graduation I was artist in residence at the Glasgow School of Art in 2001-2003, during which time I developed my silversmithing techniques and honed my design style. The residency finished with a joint exhibition “Fragments” in 2002 and a solo exhibition “Beauty with Purpose” in 2003.After the residency I took part in numerous exhibitions around Europe, including the UK, the Netherlands, Sweden, Denmark and Finland.
